An Illustration occurs as visualisation such as drawing, painting, photograph or other act of art that stresses subject more than form. the aim of an Illustration is to elucidate or even even decorate the story, verse form or piece of textual tools (like a newspaper article) by providing a ocular representation of something described in the text.

Illustrations may be utilized to display the wide range of subject matter like:

rendering faces to characters around the story; displaying the total of examples of an item described inside an academic text (e.g. The Typology); visualising step-step by step sets of videos inside the technical indicator manual.

A term 'Illustration' can as well become utilized around the non-visual feel i personally.e. "give an example to Illustrate the point you are trying to make".
